Here is my 1978 CJ. Running gear is mostly stock with front / rear lockers and only a few mods to the engine itself. It’s a 304 that was rebuilt bored .020 over, Edelbrock intake a Holley 650 cfm 4 barrel carb, Hooker headers and series 40 flowmasters. The Jeep wears Interco’s TSL radials in 35” with spring over axle conversion and Rancho suspension parts completing the package. It doesn’t make any rock crawling exercises but does function very well across the hills of our two hunting leases (2300 acres in TN; 135 sq miles in OK).

1986 CJ7 Jeep Restoration - W/Z06-LS6 Corvette Engine. It will literally blow off most Porsches, Vettes, etc. for some distance. I also own a 1997-993 Porsche G4 Cabriolet & it will smoke it until over 100 MPH! Plus it will perform off-road with the best of the off-road rigs, except for trailered rock crawlers. The Jeep has been to over 20 high lakes (10-13,000 feet) in the mountains of Colorado and over most of the "feared" trails with over 400 lbs of torque it will crawl up steep terrain with ease. I also get 22 MPG at 70 MPH.
Had Mcleod Industries build the bell housing/hydraulic clutch set up... It's the smoothest clutch set up I've ever driven, including my 3 Porsches. I'm 63 years old, driven Porsches since my first 1959, so I've driven some good set ups.
